2022 Registration

Before starting registration, please note that you CANNOT register on your phone. Additionally, the preferred browser for registration is Google Chrome.

Please read all the information below carefully, as the 2022 registration does have a few new items that all registrants will want to review so as to not be caught off guard. This includes registration fees, points requirements and allotments, and policies.

This registration form will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for player participation, and submit payment.

Please note: All players must be registered online using this form. Paper registrations are not accepted.

Also note: If your child is of age to participate in both spring (high school) and summer baseball, you will need to select BOTH a SPRING and SUMMER program for this child during registration. Just registering for one or the other does NOT register your child for both.

Please ensure that when completing all registrations that you provide complete, accurate, and up-to-date information, as this information will be the primary contact for future contact.

To complete the registration process through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account information available. All registrations will require an initial payment TODAY in order to complete registration even if you are electing to use a payment plan.

Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account from REG.NGIN.COM.


Registration Deadlines

For the 2022 baseball season, registration for all players regardless of age will be open from October 1, 2021 through December 1, 2021. Late registrations will not be accepted except for players that move to Brookings after the deadline or due to extenuating circumstances.

 

For players in the 9U to 12U divisions, if your player wishes to be considered for a traveling team, they must register for BOTH the in-house teams and the traveling team tryout. Registration for a traveling team tryout DOES NOT guarantee the player will be on the final roster. Players that are not selected for a traveling team will have their traveling team tryout fee reimbursed.

Registration Fees & Payment Plans

All registrations have payment plans available.

If you elect to participate in a payment plan, a portion of that registration fee MUST be paid at the time of registration.

Processing fees are added on to all registrations and are in addition to the costs listed below.

  • Spring High School (grades 9-12)
    • $300.00 registration fee
      • $50.00 due at time of registration
      • $62.50 due on the 15th day of January through April 2022
  • Summer 18u Bandits (grades 11-12)
    • $680.00 registration fee
      • $50.00 included for discount cards
      • $50.00 due at time of registration
      • $85.71 due on the 15th day of January through July 2022 ($85.74 in July)
  • Summer 16u (Jr. Legion & Bullets, grades 9-10)
    • $580.00 registration fee
      • $50.00 included for discount cards
      • $50.00 due at time of registration
      • $71.42 due on the 15th day of January through July 2022 ($71.48 in July)
    • Summer 14u (Bombers Black, Bombers Maroon, Bombers Gray, grades 7-8)
      • $380.00 registration fee
        • $50.00 included for discount cards
        • $50.00 due at time of registration
        • $42.85 due on the 15th day of January through July 2022 ($42.90 in July)
    • Summer 12u & 10u (Majors & Minors, grades 3-6)
      • $150.00 registration fee
        • $75.00 due at time of registration
        • $37.50 due on the 15th day of March and April 2022
    • Summer 8u (Juniors, grades 1-2)
      • $75.00 registration fee
      • $40.00 due at time of registration
      • $17.50 due on the 15th day of March and April 2022
    • Traveling Teams
      • If your child wishes to be eligible for a traveling team, you MUST register for both the appropriate in-house team and for the Traveling Team.
      • $175.00 Traveling Team registration fee
        • $25.00 due at time of registration
        • $50.00 due on the 15th day of May, June, and July 2022
        • Should your child decline a traveling team invitation or not be selected, any Traveling Team fees will be reimbursed.

Processing Fees

Please note that processing fees (what SportsEngine charges for their service) are added on at the time of checkout. These are one-time fees added on at the time of checkout and are based on the TOTAL amount of your registration.

If you choose a payment plan, the first payment (at the time of registration) will have these fees included; subsequent payments will not.

Required Forms

Even with registration being completed online, a few forms are required to be in paper form. You will find these forms included in the document below. Please print these off and fill them out entirely.

Documents MUST be turned in on Back to Baseball Night, scheduled for Monday, February 21, 2022.

Please keep in mind that ALL of the following requirements must be met before your child will be allowed to practice or play. Should these requirements not be fulfilled and your child shows up for practice or games, they will be sent home.

  1. Registration must be paid in full or in a payment plan.
  2. All forms must be filled out entirely and in the possession of the Registration Director.
  3. A copy of your child's birth certificate must be in possession of the Registration Director.
  4. All deposit checks must be in the possession of the Registration Director.
